Modern Plant Hire Limited has long history in a variety of environmental remediation services ranging from soil sampling and analysis, to disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. We are also proud of our inert waste recovery facilities that we operate in the Rugby area.

Modern Plant Hire has a large and varied fleet offering a variety of haulage solutions. We have an operational fleet ranging from 7.5 ton tippers up to 44 ton articulated tippers. And we have a long history of running a “muck away” service and supplying tippers to the aggregates industry.
Modern Plant operates a fleet of heavy plant up to 40-ton excavators with a wide range of attachments to work in conjunction with the experience of our operators. We are happy to provide our Clients with all the solutions to the specific demolition requirement.

Modern Plant Hire runs an extensive fleet of earth moving equipment, including: 16 Ton – 40 ton Excavators; 20-30 ton Dumptrucks; Dozers; Shovels; Rollers and compactors.
Modern Plant has a tradition of supporting local sports team and this has continued with support for the Barker Butts U15 girls rugby team. On 5th May the team traveled to Worcester Warriors Sixways stadium to compete and in the final of the RFU regional competition. The girls played Welwyn and ran out winners in

Modern Plant while working on a prestige site in Cambridge encountered a quality issue. It was necessary to lay granite kerbs (approx 40kg each) with a 5mm gap with a desire to have minimal tolerance. The team combined and designed a spacer which was printed using a digital printer.

Modern Plant has invested significantly in two areas, plant and haulage vehicles to ensure it retains control of its supply lines and health and safety including two NEBOSH qualified officers and regular employee training.
